Many of our services take several hours to complete. For that reason most of our services are covered for a flat rate fee.

We charge $65 an hour for labor and we bill in half hour increments of $32.50.

At the time of drop off we will tell you if your service will fall under a flat rate fee or the hourly fee.

We will inspect your computer for hardware or software damage and give you and estimate for the repair. This fee is waived if you have the repair work completed or purchase a new computer through us. You may also opt to allow us to recycle your computer in exchange for the diagnostic fee.

• Through diagnostics we will be able to determine if physical hardware is preventing your system from functioning properly, or if software installed on the computer is causing a conflict.
  
  
• If the diagnostics prove that a part has failed we will offer you our best recommendation for a replacement part or system. You will receive an accurate quote for the repair and you may choose to complete the repair or pay the diagnostic fee.
  
  
• If the diagnostics prove that software has caused a conflict on your system we will recommend the service that will correct the problem. Most computer problems are software problems that do not require part replacement. If you wish to not repair the computer you may also pay the diagnostic fee.

We will collect all user data and settings to transfer to a new or exsisting computer. We offer this service free when you purchase a computer from us!

• Programs do not transfer and will need be reinstalled on your new computer.
  
  (You will need access to your software disks and some software requires a product key.)
  
  
• Passwords that have been saved will not transfer. You should write down any passwords that you have saved.

We will run several utilities on your computer to remove malicious software, increase preformance and potentionally diagnose hardware conflicts. We recommend the clean up yearly for regular maintenance.

Our clean up includes the following:

• Virus, Malware, Spyware removal- We run scans behind your antivirus and the majority of the time we DO find malicious software
  
  
• Shut off programs that don’t need to run- Almost every program that’s installed tries to start-up with the system. We will leave on only the programs that need to run which will free up system resources.
  
  
• Delete temporary files- We will remove temporary internet files that are stored on your hard drive every time you surf the web. These files take up space on your hard drive and need to be manually deleted.
  
  
• Hard drive optimization- We will defragment your hard drive which will improve the read and write speed of your hard drive. It will re-organize the files on your drive so they can be accessed more quickly and in some cases will free up unused space.
  
  
• Windows Updates- We will get your system up to date with windows updates. We will download and install all of the updates and ensure that your system takes all the updates without a problem
  
  
• Registry Cleaning- We will use a registry cleaner to delete entries remaining from uninstalled programs. This can speed up the computer because it wont be trying to load programs or files that are non-existent.
  
  
• Physical cleaning- We will blow your desktop computer free of dust to help prevent overheating.  We will also clean your laptop screen and blow off your keyboard.

In some severe cases a clean up will not completely remove an infection. In some cases viruses can completely infect personal data or erase your hard drive

In some cases files that programs use to run are infected and cannot be cleaned and are deleted. This may cause programs to need re-installed in order to restore complete functionality.

Note: We can only burn to a DVD if you have a DVD-ROM drive. If your disc drive is a CD read only you will NOT be able to read a DVD disc.

We will make an exact replica of your hard drive and move it to another drive.

• Hard drive must be readable and must not be too damaged for clone to complete
  
  
• Price includes disk error checking to fix any errors that may be on the drive and may prevent the cloning process
  
  
• Cloning a failing hard drive can cause the drive to become unreadable in the process. If you have important data you may want to ask us about saving data before we complete the clone.
  
  
• Cloning your hard drive means that you will not need to reinstall any programs or replace any data. Your computer will look just as it did before the clone except you will have a new drive installed.

Fee: $10.00

We will create and/or setup your email address to work with a third party program such as outlook or thunderbird

• This service usually provided free of charge when combined with a repair service.
  
  
• We will setup a free email account for you at the website of your choice or setup and email account through your Internet Service Provider.
  
  
• Tell us which program you want to use or if you would like to access your email online and we will make sure that you are able to send and receive email and answer any questions related to your email program.

Fee: $35.00 per hour

We will attempt to recover your data from a damage or erased hard drive.

• In order to recover data the hard drive MUST be readable.
  
  
• Data recovery will initially take overnight to scan all files and folders on your computer (You are not charged for this time)
  
  
• You will be asked to tell us which file types you are looking for and any names or locations of the files you are looking for. 
  
  
• There is no guarantee that any or all of the data that you have asked us to recover will be recovered.
  
  
• Data can only be recovered from an erased hard drive if data has not been written to the drive after being erased. If data has already been written we may be able to recover some of the data.

Fresh Windows Installation

We will restore your system back to factory or reinstall a fresh copy of windows

• Installing a fresh copy of windows is the best way to restore performance and ensure that you are virus free! However you should install virus software right away to avoid infections.
  
  
• You must have a license sticker for the operating system you wish to install. The sticker should be located on your system or inside the packaging for the software.
  
  
• This service WILL wipe out all data. If you have important data that you do not want to loose you should back your data up prior to bringing your computer. If you would like to have us backup your data for you we will save ONE folder up to 1GB for free. Any amount above that please see Copy files to Disk or Transfer Files and Settings
  
  
• Programs and Passwords CANNOT be saved. Ensure that you have the disks and license keys for all software that you will need to reinstall and, write down any passwords that you wont remember.

Repair Windows Installation

We will repair your existing installation of windows. This will replace any missing or corrupted system files and fix system damage that cannot be repaired manually.

• Your data will not be damaged during this procedure, and no system changes will be made.

If windows cannot boot or start in safe mode we will manually restore your computer with a previous restore point.

• You must have a previous restore point in order for us to manually restore your system
  
  
• You will not loose any data during this process however, you may have to re-install any programs that were installed after the date we restore the computer to
  
  
• We will choose the closest date that will allow the computer to function
  
  
• Manual restores are needed when a bad update is installed or software is conflicting. Please give us as much information as possible about anything that was installed that may have caused the conflict so that we can try to ensure the issue does not occur again.
  
  
• In some cases we may need to do a disk error check to correct errors on the hard drive that cause the system to need manually restored.

We will install and configure your hardware device to work with your computer

• There is no part installation charge applied to hard drives and memory purchased from us.
• Includes software installation and updates if applicable.

Part Installation (Your Parts)

Fee: $40.00

We will install and configure parts that you already have into your system.

• Includes software installation and updates if applicable.

Single Program Installation

We will install, update, and configure your software.

• We will install up to four programs or one suite as a courtesy when you purchase a computer from us.

We will come to you and try to resolve your issues. If we are unable to resolve the problem in your home we will bring your computer back to our shop to complete the repair.

• A $15 trip charge may be assessed for long distance service calls.
  
  
• For most of the services that we provide we recommend your bring your computer to us. Many times we can repair your computer faster, for less.
  
  
• Clean-Ups , Fresh/Repair Windows Installations, Disk clones and some other services are not available in home because of length of time or the necessity of additional hardware.

Fee: $110.00

We will install your network and ensure that all devices are able to communicate online. We will setup a local network for file sharing and/or print sharing capabilites that you would like to have as well.

• Wired and/or wireless network installation available.
  
  
• High-speed Internet is required to setup a network or share an internet connection with other computers.
  
  
• You will need a wireless router and an extra Ethernet cable in order to add wireless capability to a wired setup. If you do not have these please ask about purchasing them.
  
  
• Set-up Network printing so others can use the same printer without being plugged into it

Fee: $5.00

We will spray the dust out of your computer.

• A dusty system can cause fans to become clogged which may cause overheating and can damage sensitive components
  
  
• If you find your system is rather dirty it’s a good idea to check for dust every few months!
  
  
• never use a vacuum to clean your computer!
  
  
• We clean your system for free when you see us for a clean-up!
